Curry Magic Curry Nights

Many may be curious about how I learned to make curry, and I have a dedicated blog post covering my first curry adventures. In the meantime, I wanted to add a gallery to showcase some of the curry nights and private parties that we catered for. Stay tuned for more culinary delights and behind-the-scenes stories from the world of curry-making!

Humble beginnings and a beautiful Cyprus adventure

These were the modest origins of our curry endeavors in Cyprus, situated in the scenic foothills of the Troodos mountains. We stayed with a kind couple who opened up their home and let us stay in their guesthouse. While assisting them in building a swimming pool, we found ourselves making curries to keep busy. It was during this time that we made the decision to pursue our curry venture further and create

Curry Magic.

A  35th Wedding Anniversary

While conversing with Margaret, a customer of mine, the topic of catering for wedding anniversaries arose, and I gladly accepted the challenge as we had successfully catered a birthday party before. Despite having basic equipment, which was a challenge, Colin and Margaret's 35th wedding anniversary celebration was a resounding success. This event inspired us to host more curry nights, although regrettably, we didn't manage to capture many photos from these occasions.

The Evzonas hotel curry evenings

Following the success of our initial curry events, we made the decision to extend our services to a small local hotel in Paphos. When the hotel expressed interest in hosting an event evening, I proposed the idea of a curry night. Once again, we whipped up all the classic curry dishes, creating a memorable experience. This quaint hotel, managed by a British couple who valued a delicious curry, quickly became a hit among guests and locals. What started as a single night event evolved into a recurring season, receiving widespread praise.

Alfie "T's Bar & Max Williams Curry Evenings

Wow, let me tell you about Max Williams, Harry O's and Alfie T's - three amazing bars owned by an English family! Laura and her father Eric run these bars and they approached us after hearing about our successful curry nights around town. We were thrilled to accept their offer to do a monthly curry theme. And guess what? We even improved our equipment by having a large stainless steel "Bain Marie" made! This allowed us to heat the curries through to piping hot without the need for microwave ovens, and reduced the chance of burning our beloved curries.

A Charity event  held at secret valley

I was thrilled when Dal and John, who lived in a place called secret valley near Paphos, approached me to cater for their private party! They had attended another party we catered for, just around the corner, for Margaret and Don. This time, we were to cater for around a hundred people, which was a challenge, but we were up for it! After days of preparation and cooking, we arrived and did our thing, and the evening was a huge success! I had over-catered, Dal auctioned off the leftover curries, leaving none for us, but it was all worth it

Awesome! I'm thrilled that you had a chance to check out our gallery and see the amazing catering we've produced for our locals. I'm sure it has sparked your creativity and inspired you to get cooking in the kitchen! Let's get creative together!
